AHL announces 5-game suspension for Pierrick Dube

The AHL announced two suspensions on Tuesday morning, one of which dealing with Hershey’s Pierrick Dube.

Dube has been suspended five games for his actions in Hershey’s win over Charlotte on January 11. The suspension comes under the AHL Rule 40.4, physical abuse of an official (Category III).

Dube will miss Friday’s game against Belleville, followed by Sunday, January 19 vs. Rochester, January 22 at Laval, and January 24 & 25 at Belleville.

The AHL also suspended Rochester Americans’ defenseman Nikita Novikov for one game in an incident of cross-checking in a January 11 game against Syracuse. He will miss this Friday’s game against Lehigh Valley.
